Due to the recent changes through National Registry and the State of California, all EMT students must take and pass the National Registry exam after completing the EMT Basic Course in order to become an EMT I. Upon successful completion of the EMT Basic Course, the student will receive a course completion record. The student will then be eligible to take the National Registry Exam.
Also, students must have their CPR card PRIOR to the first class day. If you have a current CPR card, please bring a copy to the first class date. If you need your CPR, please check the CPR box on the registration form and include a SEPARATE check of $50. CPR class will be held the Sunday prior to the first class start date. If you are not sure if your current CPR card is acceptable, you may call National Registry at (614) 888-4484.
Payment in full required at time of registration to secure student`s place in class. Refunds will only be given on the first night of class provided we are able to fill your vacancy with another student.
